| National Publishing House in Essex
We were asked to help a local publishing house to increase the size of their network, storage and user base. The solution included an Xserve/Xraid with 3.5Tb online backing up to a DLT library. 12 new iMacs and 6 G5's were installed onto the system making a total of 55 Mac's and PC's logging into the server. The second phase is now in progress and we have bonded 4 * ADSL lines to give a whopping 8Mb download and 1Mb upload. This has freed up extra time before crucial deadlines. Phase 3 is to install a Kerio mail server onto a second Xserve. This will have direct links to the internet so all clients can send and receive messages, check diaries and arrange meetings through their server from anywhere in the world. This will all be installed and working by the end of April 2006.
Architects based in South Cambridgeshire
We have been dealing with a large Architects based near Cambridge for some 6 years now. Our first project was to install structured cabling to the offices and install a data/mail server with backup. We have since migrated all users to OS X with all the software and hardware that was required. Now the system is running well with 17 G5's and 3 PowerBooks. They also have a service agreement that has been in place since the start and we look forward to helping them with their expanding business into the future. |
